Recent Announcements

  • The self-registration feature for the Digital Library is now active. All teachers with a Lotus Notes email address ending in “@notes.k12.hi.us” are now able to self-register for Digital Library account access. Go to www.smarterbalancedlibrary.org, click the “Register for the Digital Library” button, and enter your name and email address ending in “@notes.k12.hi.us.” NOTE: Schools that use Yahoo, Gmail, or other non-Lotus Notes email addresses cannot use the self-registration feature at this time and should contact the Help Desk to register for a Digital Library account.

  • AIR now supports testing on iOS 10.2 for all assessments and exams. Please ensure that all testing devices are updated as iOS 10.0 and 10.1 will no longer be supported as of December 31, 2016.   • Registration for the January 2017 Smarter Balanced Test Coordinator Training is now open. Please click the button on the right-hand side of the Smarter Balanced home page to access the online registration form, or click here to access the form directly. Full information about the trainings, including location and dates, can be found in the official HIDOE announcement memo here.

  • The Test Delivery System (TDS) will be offline for maintenance on the following dates during the 2016-2017 school year: Monday, October 10th (re-opening at 6am HST on Tuesday, October 11th); Friday, November 18th (re-opening at 6am HST on Monday, November 21st); and Friday, February 17th (re-opening at 6am HST on Tuesday, February 21st following the Presidents Day holiday). Online training and practice tests, TIDE, and the Online Reporting System (ORS) will be available during scheduled TDS downtimes. A full list of all scheduled downtimes may be found on the Important Dates page of this portal website.
