  • The Assessment Section and AIR will present an HSA-Alt Test Coordinators – Spring 2017 Operational Assessment webinar on Thursday, February 2, 2017 from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. Topics covered will include an overview of the Spring 2017 operational HSA-Alt testing, and the roles and responsibilities of Test Coordinators before, during, and after the HSA-Alt testing window. The webinar will be recorded and posted in the Trainings and Webinars section of the HSA-Alt portal website.

  • The Test Delivery System (TDS) will be offline for maintenance on the following dates during the 2016-2017 school year: Monday, October 10th (re-opening at 6am HST on Tuesday, October 11th); Friday, November 18th (re-opening at 6am HST on Monday, November 21st); and Friday, February 17th (re-opening at 6am HST on Tuesday, February 21st following the Presidents Day holiday). Online training and practice tests, TIDE, and the Online Reporting System (ORS) will be available during scheduled TDS downtimes. A full list of all scheduled downtimes may be found on the Important Dates page of this portal website.

  • As part of the system roll-over for the new school year, all HSAP system user passwords have been cleared. Please review the instructions in this Word document to create a new password for the 2016-2017 school year. All user accounts which had access to HSAP systems in 2015-2016 will continue to have access this year, although users are required to reset their password.  If a user should no longer have an account, their school test coordinator should follow the process outlined in the TIDE User Guide to remove their system access.

  • Attention New Test Coordinators:
    In order to be able to view reports in the Online Reporting System (ORS) and enter new Test Administrators (TA) in the Test Information Distribution Engine (TIDE), you will have to have your principal set you up as a Test Coordinator (TC) role in TIDE. If your principal needs further assistance, please contact the HSAP Help Desk at 1-866-648-3712.

  • REMINDER: Operating systems that become available but do not appear on the Supported Browsers page on the portal are not supported. Do not upgrade to new operating systems on computers that will be used to administer online assessments without ensuring the updates meet the required specifications.
