  • IMPORTANT: HSA-Alt Test Administrators / Technology Coordinators should not update iPads being used for HSA-Alt testing to the newly released iOS 10 at this time. AIR does not currently support iOS 10 for testing. Another announcement will be posted when iOS 10 is supported for testing. Reminder: operating systems that become available but do not appear on the Supported Browsers page on the portal are not supported. Do not upgrade to new operating systems on computers that will be used to administer online assessments without ensuring the updates meet the required specifications.

  • REMINDER: School Test Coordinators should make sure all HSA-Alt Test Administrators have been correctly entered into TIDE with the “TA” user role prior to the opening of the Fall 2016 HSA-Alt Independent Field Test for Writing test window on September 26th. School TCs should also confirm all returning HSA-Alt TAs have completed the online TA Certification Course (available via the link on the HSA-Alt home page) and all new HSA-Alt TAs have attended one of the face-to-face training sessions in September (see the HIDOE announcement memo here). New TAs who missed the fall 2016 training registration and were not able to attend a training session will need to complete the online TA Certification Course in order to administer the Fall 2016 Independent Field Test for Writing. Then, they may attend one of the face-to-face training sessions that will be held in January/February 2017 (dates TBA).
