  • HIDOE and AIR are now accepting applications for the Summer 2017 HSA Science and Biology I Item Review Committees. To apply, click the “Summer 2017 Review Committee Registration” link on the HSA Science portal home page or click here to access the registration site. Full information about the review committees can be found in the official HIDOE announcement memo here.

  • REMINDER: Today (May 3, 2017) at 11am Hawaii Standard Time, the current license for the Julie and Violeta NeoSpeech voice packs will expire. If your school has NeoSpeech voice packs installed on your Windows-based computers used for Hawaii Statewide Assessments with Text-to-Speech, your School Technology Coordinator or School Test Coordinator will need to renew your NeoSpeech voice pack licenses. Note: schools do not need to re-install the voice pack software, only the licenses. To ensure that your computer’s voice packs continue to function as expected, please download the updated licenses in TIDE under General Resources > Download Voice Pack and transfer the licenses to the appropriate license folders on Windows machines following the instructions posted on the Download Voice Pack page. Please use the “Checking TTS License on Training Test Site” instructions to check specific computer(s) for the updated license file(s) via the AIR Practice and Training Test site. These instructions will assist you in identifying computers that may need to be updated.

  • Those who experience problems with the Online TA Certification Course (e.g., logging in, printing certificate of completion, etc.), should contact the HSAP Help Desk at 1-866-648-3712 or hsaphelpdesk@air.org.  Please have the following information available to assist with troubleshooting – type of computer, operating system (Windows 10, etc.), browser (Firefox, Chrome, etc.), and any error messages that may pop up. To avoid potential issues, please clear your cache and cookies prior to taking the course, make sure you click “EXIT” before closing your browser, and complete the course on a desktop or laptop device.
